Core Services.
-
We provide high-quality, 24-hour residential care for children and young people who require a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment. Our service is designed to support children who may have experienced trauma, instability, or complex emotional and behavioural needs, helping them feel secure, valued, and supported to reach their full potential.
-
A bespoke service for children with "dual diagnosis" or multi-faceted requirements that don't fit into a single category.
What we offer: For children with overlapping SEMH and learning disabilities, we create Individual Care Plans (ICPs) that address every angle of their wellbeing. This includes medication management, sensory processing support, and intensive behavioral monitoring.
-
Children are supported to develop independence skills, including:
Personal care
Cooking and nutrition
Time management
Social skills
-
We act as the bridge between the home and the classroom, ensuring every child meets their educational potential.
What we offer: We work directly with Virtual Schools and local SEND providers in Burton-on-Trent to support EHC Plans. Within the home, we focus on "Independence Pathways," teaching age-appropriate life skills (from personal hygiene to budget management) to prepare young people for their future.
-
We actively promote school attendance, liaise with educational providers, and support learning at home where required.
-
Our staff are trained to support children experiencing emotional distress, attachment difficulties, and behavioural challenges.
-
Comprehensive oversight of a child’s physical and mental health requirements.
What we offer: We coordinate with local Staffordshire health hubs, CAMHS, and specialist pediatricians. We ensure that all health appointments are met, therapy sessions are integrated into daily life, and dietary/fitness needs are prioritised.
-
We provide a stable, trauma-informed environment for children and young people experiencing Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
What we offer: Our care is rooted in [e.g., PACE or Trauma-Informed] models, focusing on emotional regulation, building resilience, and healing from past adverse experiences. We offer a high staff-to-child ratio to ensure safety and consistent emotional availability.
-
Dedicated support for children moving into our home or preparing for their next step (e.g., foster care or independent living).
What we offer: We recognise that transitions are high-risk periods. We offer comprehensive "Matching Assessments" to ensure placement stability and provide "Step-Down" planning to ensure that when a child is ready to move on, they do so with the skills and confidence to succeed.
-
Our 4-bed property is specifically equipped to support children with physical and learning disabilities.
What we offer: We provide a fully accessible environment with specialist equipment where required. Our staff are trained in specific disability support protocols, ensuring that a child’s physical or cognitive limitations are never a barrier to a fulfilling life or community participation.
Our homes are built on a genuine commitment to creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where every child feels they truly belong.
We focus on personalised care, ensuring each young person receives the support they need to enjoy a positive childhood, develop key life skills, thrive in education, and build healthy, meaningful relationships.
Every child has their own private bedroom — a space that is theirs alone. We encourage them to make it their own by choosing décor that reflects who they are, helping them feel grounded, comfortable, and at home.
Our gardens and outdoor areas provide a calming space for relaxation, play, and time in nature. These peaceful surroundings help promote emotional well-being and give children a place to reflect and unwind.
We are also supported by an experienced therapeutic team who work closely with our staff and visit the homes regularly. Their insight and tailored therapeutic approaches help guide our work and ensure each child receives the emotional support they need to grow and flourish.
